Foster Dance Company

FDCO Pink: FDCO Pink Rehearsal, one Ballet, and one other class.  MoPeD strongly encouraged.

FDCO Orange, Blue, and Red: FDCO Rehearsal, two Ballet, and two other technique classes per week. MoPeD strongly encouraged.

Unlimited Classes:
Company students are entitled to take unlimited classes. We encourage you to take as many classes as you can!

Foster Dance Company students will present two professionally choreographed and produced performances. This group will also perform at other venues as opportunities arise.  Past additional performances have included collaborating with the Music Institute of Chicago for a special Nutcracker performance "Duke It Out," the Boys Hope Girls Hope gala at the Four Seasons Hotel, the Evanston Farmers Market, NYCDA, and more!

Foster Dance Pre-Professional Company

For the most committed dancers who are ready to take their dance to the next level.  Same requirements as FDCO with an additional rehearsal and an additional technique class.  Age 11 and up.

Pre-Pro dancers will attend competitions and showcases, have their own pieces in our two annual performances, and participate in other performance opportunities as they arise.  You must be in FDCO to join the Pre-Professional Company.

Intermediate and Advanced levels. No auditions are necessary. Placement will be on a case by case basis. Please get your level approved before registration by emailing

Foster Dance Hip Hop Crew

Join Foster Dance Crew!  Artistic Directors Daniel Williams (Junior Crew) and Aryssa Alonzo (Advanced Crew) will lead these fun groups. Foster Dance Crew will have their own pieces in our two annual performances and participate in other performance opportunities as they arise

Junior, and Advanced levels. No auditions are necessary. Please come to rehearsal on Sunday, September 9th. Groupings will be determined after that based on age and ability.

Junior Crew
Artistic Director: Daniel Williams
Age guideline: 6-13yrs
Rehearsals: Sunday 12:30-1:30pm and 1:30-2:30pm
Requirements: Sunday rehearsal plus one other weekday Hip Hop class. Junior Crew may be split up into two groups depending on who is interested and their ages.  

Advanced Crew
Artistic Director Aryssa Alonzo
Age guideline: 14yr+
Rehearsals: Sunday 2:30-4:00pm
Requirements: Sunday rehearsal.
